Conceptual photography/I was tasked by my professor to capture something I wanted to speak out about. That something was mass incarceration.
Thousands of men and women sit in prisons everyday for trivial crimes. Prisons are a business. They are overcrowded and create an imbalance of power.
It is the only form of legal slavery left in the U.S.
There is often no plan for rehabilitation.
